Explore the Watsonville wetlands, little-visited pockets of solitude and untamed beauty. Tour the Fitz Wetlands Educational Resource Center (the WERC), an important resource and activity center for students and teachers in the Pajaro Valley schools. Learn about the Watsonville Wetlands Watch, the organization which runs the WERC and which is dedicated to the preservation of Watsonville’s wetlands. Explore a native-plant restoration area and enjoy views of the wetlands and its active birdlife.

Bring your family and friends and join us on a fun-filled tour of the wetlands and our Wetlands Educational Resource Center, where the tour begins.  For driving directions and a map, click here. Tours are free, but please call Kathy at 831-345-1226 or send an e-mail to her at kathyfieb@yahoo.com by Friday noon before the tour to reserve a place.
