Spring 2020 Docent Training

Become a Watsonville Wetlands Watch Docent! Docent training starts March 18th, and participants will be treated to an inside look at the Pajaro Valley and its unique network of freshwater wetlands and receive education and training from experts in how they can contribute to environmental education, outreach, and restoration of these rare and vital ecosystems.

Docent trainees will learn about the natural and cultural history of the wetlands while having fun with professionals and other volunteers committed to community education and environmental conservation. After completing the training requirements docents become part of a dedicated group of over 100 community volunteers that provide invaluable help supporting the improvement of the Watsonville wetland ecosystems and the community.
