Speaker Series: Medicinal Uses of Native Plants

A bounty of medicinal plants surround us. They are lurking in the forest, planted in landscapes, and proliferating in wetlands. This talk will teach one how to identify and use some of the most common plants found in the gardens and wilds of Santa Cruz County. Bring your senses of smell, touch, sight, and hearing, as they are sure to be engaged in this interactive and informational talk. Also feel free to bring plants from your own lands/gardens that you would like to learn more about.
